That's really all my wife and I could say for the 4 1/2 ride home. We are super excited to get her home in a couple weeks and get this party started!
The bodacious beauty is a 2000 Internation/Amtran RE. Beautiful bus actually, she has 135,000 miles on the clock, with a DT466e and a MD3060. No visible rust at all, and has some additional perks I wasn't expecting. (air seat, air ride suspension in the back, heated power mirrors, and luggage bins all around underneath) she'll need tires, but we already planned on that anyway so...
Another bright spot is the thing has all screws on the inside instead of rivets! Very happy about this!
Our plans for the bus are a full on roof raise conversion for full time living on the road. It's only the wife and I along with our 4 legged children so we can really just deck it out for convenience. I have worked in the cabinet industry for 30 years so the build out should be like old times. I also have done some boat building as well.
Next up is of course getting insurance and all that jazz so we can get her home to East TN.
Anywho, just stopping by to say hi and thanks to all those that are forging the path for those of us picking up the rear.
Happy Sunday everyone!

Exciting! I just got a 40' rear engine, too, two days ago. Watch for my thread when I put pics and specs up (and ask for experience and wisdom)!
