How in the hell do I lose so much crap in a 30'x77"x91" tunnel?

I'm insulating over Windows & Walls and I am constantly freaking looking for something

Tape measure (front of bus)
Pencil (back of bus)
Marker (in a bucket!)
Screws (in a box)
Broom (leaning against wall)
cordless drill (in the floor)
Cordless drill charger!
Electric drill
Drill bit
Stapler
Jigsaw
Angle grinder
Stupid cut off wheel
Metal bracket
Hammer (top of fridge)
That damned board I JUST CUT!

I'm exhausted just from looking for *hit!

And it is not cluttered space!!!
