Hello all,

I am looking for my TCM for an Allison MD 3060 on my 1998 Bluebird TC2000 with a 5.9 Cummins.

No, its not behind my windshield wiper door.
No, its not inside the frame rails by the transmission.
No, its not under the driver seat under the bus.

I am at a loss at this point and all suggestions have been wild goose chases.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

follow the harness.. the MD3060 has a large wiring harness that comes off of it.. follow where it goes.. a nig number of the wires in the transmission harness will land at the TCM

I did this. I followed the harness along the frame until it goes into the body of the bus near the back of the radiator along with several other wiring harnesses. I opened up the panel behind the driver side windshield motor cover. There was a fuse panel there and the wiring harness from the transmission ran behind this panel and into the cab. I assume it eventually lands at the ECU and shifter panel. So now I will have to pull the dash to see if where it ends up.

Follow the wires

I think some of the TEC II TCM are part of the shift pad. I think it is likely that the TCM Is the shifter.

Look at eBay for TEC II TCU I think you will find this big box that is part of shifter.

Just double checking here.. My wiring harness runs along the frame rail, past the alternator and then past the radiator. Its on the door side of the bus under behind the wiper door. Just verifying you checked both sides. I haven't seen a TC2000 Front engine that had it elsewhere. The fuse panel is on the driver side for me.
