Where is coolant shut off valve?

Hi guys! I’m going to try to remove the heater from the middle and back of the bus. I have read that I want to shut off the antifreeze from going from the engine into the hoses I will soon cut. It seems like every video I watch shows a different place and I’m having trouble locating the coolant shut off valve. Anyone know where I would locate it on a 1992 international front engine flat nose bus? After I connect the hose into itself do I then open that shut off valve? I’m assuming I would have to add coolant after all is completed because of the air remaining in the hose? Thanks in advance!

My 99 has no such valve. I traced the lines into the engine bay and cut and reattched the hoses. You're going to spill some fluid, no getting around it.

Are you sure you want to have no heat in the rear of the bus when driving in cold temps? I kept mine and glad I did!

You can delete the heaters without shutting off the valve and without losing much coolant. Here's an album showing how I did mine: https://imgur.com/a/aaSsuNg

Only thing you don't want to do is to use the smaller bit of hose for the loopback like I did in the album. I did this temporarily but replaced that bit of hose with a brass coupler like this: https://www.firehosedirect.com/brass-1-hose-mender

No, they're still there - it's about a 3' length that protrudes from the little box behind the driver seat. This was the first thing I chopped on my bus after removing the seats and I went kind of long because I was afraid of not being able to splice the hoses if they were too short. I'll eventually do it shorter or at the engine which is certainly the best way.

If you look under the bus right in front of the drivers wheel you will see this pump. The outlet of the pump was one hose going into the cabin, the hose you see is the second hose. I removed the top hose, cut the bottom one to length and just hooked it back in the pump, easy peasy.
