Hey guys, my apologies if this has already been answered. I have looked and looked for this info to no avail.
I have been converting our 96 Bluebird TC2000 5.9/545 FE for the last 6 months. I can see the light! Now there seems to be an issue. I removed all bulbs, headlights blinkers and rear end to paint. Battery died on me as well so that was replaced. When painting was done I rep look aced all bulbs with LEDs and that's where the problem lies.
All lights work minus the blinkers and for some reason the back up warning. I figured it may be a fuse issue but I can't find any fuse box. Where the heck is it? Everything worked as it should before paint and I messed with nothing electrical. Thank you in advance for any help guys. I'm pretty bummed.

I have a 99 A3FE Bluebird. I also have a second fuse box underneath the bus, about below the driver seat. Be careful, BIG power cables in there.

My 1998 FE TC2000 has a lever just left and behind the drivers seat to open the fuse panel on the outside of the bus to the left of the driver.

Also, there is a hidden relay and breaker panel. Open the left front wiper motor panel and behind that there is a metal panel with a screwed on cover behind that.

MY 1999 TC1000 has a fuse-panel on the "front" side of the dash display, hiding behind a screw-in cover. It also has self-resetting circuit breakers on the "electrical panel" below the driver's side window. The fuse for the brake lights was out, and it drove me crazy trying to find the wires, since BlueBird will not supply a full wiring diagram to me. These super-cool-cats clued me in:

I attached pics of my dash.

Now would any of you know by chance how to get RPM gauge working? LOL

Everything else on dash is operable minus RPM. I need that baby to work.......

While I haven't seen this as a fact in my bus, from what I have seen, I bet the gauge is all electric, no cable from the tranny or rear-end to the gauge. That could be a speed sensor or the gauge or a fuse or a wiring connector. A quick fix is to get a dash-mounted GPS system that tells you the speed you are traveling. I did that with my 30year old truck when the gauge was bad and no new ones were available.

I found the breaker panel underneath a panel on the dashboard just infront of the steering wheel 4 screws and voila , Perfect ! I blew a fuse that disengaged the brake pedal releasing the cruise control . 1999 BB .

Yeeeeah.. I've been from one end of the web to the other looking for diagrams, schematics to help solve my 97, 78 passenger bluebird's new and exquisitely inconvenient riddle.
"Had to jump 5 days ago.
Gauge said 12v. 🧐 Been hanging out in the barn a week.
Used the jump pack.
(I Loaded provisions through both back doors. Left the ctr one open. Spaced it)
2 days ago, ready to fill up diesel & H2O to go mining my claim. Dash shows 9v. Not turning over. Click coming from the outside panel is the only sound beside the air pressure beeping while it usually builds and stops. Not building nor stops beeping. Dash lights for eng wiring, pressure stay lit. 3 LED to the left of the steering wheel, light & blink. Charging system, low battery & engine wiring. . All but the charging system light goes off.
Each battery had 12.6v. 9v at the gauge.
Been on the Internet like a gamer. And out there cluck'n like a tweaker with a headlamp. Faipping unbelievable how many things cause this condition!
NO 2 busses are configured the same. Nor is there anything remotely related to wiring except for lights. Apologize for the rant.
Does anyone recognize anything in the pictures I uploaded?
Oh yeah.. The flipping random cable in the 1st two pictures..
Take a close look where it's landed. What in the fisher price toolbox did this idea fall from?
Buler...? Buler...?
Buler..?

Cable in first two pictures, does not go there. That piece of wood for a battery hold down is a joke, right? Other than that, are you asking a question?

That is clearly a professional ground job magnakansas. ;)

But in all seriousness, the battery tray isn't gonna be the best ground to use, you should drill a new hole in your chassis and ground it out there. Your electrical items will be safer with a larger ground.

First off I apologize.
Im relocating 500 miles south.
I bought the bus to live in and have my lapidary workshop in the back. I had just loaded in the last provisions and the no start issue pushed me hard. After searching the Internet for some form of wiring schematic to no avail. And 10k YouTube tail chasing videos. My communication skills weren't functioning.
I wish it was a joke. I just bought it & unfamiliar with diesel engines and bus wiring.
It's the ground for the lift that is no longer there.
I've a no start issue after loading.
When I turn the key to start.
There is a clicking in the panel box outside the driver window.
Another behind the dash console and after a minute or a different sounding beep, beeps 5 times and repeats a minute later.
There's also a clicking down by the hi beam floor switch. It also clicks after turning the key to off.
Charging system light stays blinking. Parking brake, low air and engine wiring lights on the dash.
Oh, yeah.. I finally found the fuse box and the relays behind the wiper motor. Wasn't even close to where research said.
Anyway, I found a burnt 40a fuse in the box. Had to dig it out of the burnt plastic and land it in an open spot.
I've 12.55v at the battery bank.
9v on the dash. Until I turned on a switch on the floor of the driver seat. Voltage increased to 10-11v.
I've opened and closed both doors twice.
I was a Ducati factory technician in my 20's. This shouldn't be this difficult. Alas, apparently it is.
