I have an 81 gillig 636.
As far as I can tell, it has lived it's whole life in Washington state. The windows are mostly in good shape, however, there is a bit of leakage going on... The most noticeable problem is at the two larger, non-opening windows toward the rear of the bus. This is where the gutters end, so water has been encouraged to pool and focus on gaining access to the inner frames causing rust problems.
I called and spoke with a very helpful woman at AZ bus sales today, but alas, no dice, at all...
So, any ideas for where I might be able to obtain something like this? Alternately, has anyone out there had any luck carefully peeling off the old seals, giving them a good cleaning, and putting them back with some kind of silicone or other sealers? Cause that's what I'm thinkin I might have to do! :?
Thanks!
