my windshield is pretty cracked and i was looking into replacing it.

i called my local auto glass shop and they cant do it, cant even find one. so im looking if anyone here has done it and where it may have come from.

looking for a driverside curved window for a '93 flat nose bluebird.

chip season is just starting!

TIA

If you need part number see page 7-4. I believe that covers your year model. Slim picking on availability since the curved glass was an upgrade. Download parts catalog from google drive since it wouldn't upload.

says they have 3 in stock.

ok idiot question, is the drivers side the right or left?
is it looking at it or sitting in it?

im guessing left = driver?

I think by the way they draw the picture of it curving inward that left is driver.

I have several right hand side windsheilds and if you need a left you can call dan at Coachparts and he can drop ship one to you.

There is Elijah dermott, salvages busses in Texas. I think he is present on Facebook. Also might be here and Facebook group - the skoolie national.

well,

howdy folks, long time no talk.

i finally got my windshield replaced.

i decided to spend the winter in Quarztsite, AZ. not much of a town here but there are a **** of a lot of rver's. that means there are companies that cater to rv crowd, solar, what ever... i may get an appt with a solar guy here soon and add an inverter.
but anyway, the glass company came to my camp spot and replaced the glass! thats freaking awesome! the do take care of the crowd here.

i find it odd that skoolies are a dime a dozen here, never seen so many of them.

Nice to hear from you again. Don't be a stranger!

Quartzsite is like the mecca of RV's in the west. So naturally where there's RV's there skoolies trying to blend in.

How's your transmission upgrade holding out?

the transmission is awesome. i had a little difficulty with the tps sensor connection to the throttle pedal, but after i got that sorted out, she is awsome. it gets better as you go.
the trip to quartsite was about 1200 miles and she got better as we went. started out with basic downshifting, after 600 miles it was modulating 5 snd 6 for the hills and flats. and its just kept getting better.

i towed my 1/2ton truck and it had no problem doing 80s, i could have gone a lot faster.

i blew a boost tube on the way here and that set me back a day, but in the end it was an easy fix. no harm no foul.

this is the start of retirement for me, so time to enjoy

Hoping to join you in retirement soon!!!

Jan 1st 2026 marked 45 years continuous at one place for me-- I'm almost 68 and ready to retire-- but it is hard to get untangled from a family business....

I just turned 40 and the kids are 10, 13, and 15. 4 years ago I built a camping trailer and we put 9,000 miles in two years roadtripping around. Every retired person we saw would come up to us and say "man we wish we did this when our kids were young" - well fast forward to now and our bus was the answer to all those people. Quitting our jobs, selling the home, and relocating to somewhere else once we find it. Ive attached a half decent pic of the camper just outside the South Rim. It was an old M1101 military trailer that i put a tent on top of, ecoflow with 12v fridge, instant propane hot water heater, and a built in blackstone on a pull out kitchen slide.
