Won a pretty nice bus at auction, but then I realized it had a CAT3126

you may find that trying to find a smaller vehicle results in more expense... I know a couple people looking for vans to convert and the prices get run-up.. Van cutaway busses do seem to still sometimes go for a decent price. but even those seem to command decent coin at auction... smaller seems to be getting more popular (thus more pricey)...

I also dont see the number of busses at auction this year as I did last.. my guess is that schools are holding back as to be afraid of trump ripping the education budgets to shreds... busses that still run dont command a big expense so hang onto them.

It's a debate we're going through. Since buying the bus, we've come into the situation of having to relocate from the east coast to the west. The first issue arose that, much of the west has parking restrictions, 29ft and shorter, etc. Plus, we have to move with the bus. I also have a number of cars, trucks, a full shop full of tooling/fab stuff....it's gonna get interesting..lol.

I definitely don't want to sell it because, I really don't think I could've gotten a better bus, sight unseen. The bus is fantastic inside and out.

We're just entertaining options...trying to see what presents itself.

seems almost like if you can swing it, an exploratory trip out where you are thinking of living to scope out possible shop, or land to build a shop, even if its a few miles out, etc.. but if you are talking west like west coast.. WA, OR, CA. then yeash it seems like parking is a real pain!...

great lakes / midwest seems fairly easy.. east coast is tough too.. I guess higher density areas it gets rough to find spacde that isnt incredibly expensive..
