Would this be good ceiling material?

I ran across this in lowes yesterday. rigid yet flexible enough to match the bend of the roof. I literally just picked up some white veneer panels from and RV store before I got to lowes. I could use those panels for the walls I guess.

From what I've read some people use thin foam, or thin plywood. I'll probably use will seal which is a roll of thin foam used under window sills.

forgot to mention they are 4x8 panels for $20 each and are roughly 1/16th inch thick.

If that's what I think it is, I wouldn't use it. You'll end up with a really wavy ceiling with no water resistance at all from the back side. Also, my personal opinion is that it looks like what they use for the walls in really unappealing gas station bathrooms. It's just ugly. YMMV.

This is what I plan on and it has good reviews and mediocre structural integrity.

Did you check the link, it's obviously not what you think. It is plastic and 100% waterproof. I agree the thickness will not aide in a smooth ceiling.
