I haven't had problems, but I've heard of MANY people having problems with their yahoo mail accounts lately (unable to compose, reply, etc).
Yahoo used to have a server bank on the east coast and on the west coast that worked pretty independently of each other so half the people I talked to on Messenger would have problems and I wouldn't and vice versa.
